About us

What omid57 is

Free online tools for everyday tasks: compressing images, converting files, formatting code and doing quick calculations. Most tools run entirely in your browser, so your files stay on your device.

Who is behind it

omid57 is run by Omid Jamshidi in Germany. Full contact details are in our legal notice.

How we work

Our tools use standard, documented methods. Each tool page explains how the tool works and answers common questions. We test the tools in current browsers and fix problems as soon as we learn about them.

How the site is funded

The site is free to use. It may be financed by advertising in the future, which will always be clearly separated from the tools and content.

Our other projects

finanztool.info – free financial calculators for loans, savings, inflation and more.

omid57.info – live news headlines from Persian-language news sources in one place.
