How long should a password be?
At least 12 characters for everyday accounts and 16 or more for important ones like email and banking. Length adds more strength than complexity.
Are these passwords really random?
Yes. They come from the Web Crypto API (crypto.getRandomValues), the same cryptographic source browsers use for security features.
